Tracy L. Morelan, AIA

Design Architect
Tracy earned her Master of Architecture from Savannah College of Art & Design in 1993 and is a registered architect in Georgia. With over 30 years of experience in architectural design Tracy’s responsibilities include, schematic design, design development, production of contract documents, and coordination with consulting engineers, code research and periodic site observation to ensure that the construction is in conformance with the contract. As Project Architect for Ussery/Rule, Tracy has worked on a broad range of building types including recreational, commercial, hospitality and single & multi-family residential.

Robert C. Ussery, AIA, NCARB

Principal Architect
Robert earned his Bachelor of Architecture from Auburn University in 1971. He is a registered Architect in Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, and South Carolina and a certified member and past President of The Georgia Association American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the National Council of Architectural Registration Board (NCARB). He is past president of the Georgia American Institute of Architects and has served as president, secretary treasurer, and education director of the local AIA Golden Isles Chapter several times thru the years. Locally, he served as Vice-Chairman of the Glynn County Planning Commission. Robert has over forty-five years of experience in architectural design, land planning, and contract administration. As the Principal Architect he is responsible for project management, code compliance, zoning issues, master planning, schematic design, design development, and construction documents. In his role as Principal Robert continues to design as well as direct and coordinate the staff at Ussery/Rule Architects, P.C.
In addition to managing his office as Principal Architect, he serves as Consulting Architect to the homeowners’ associations of Hampton Plantation, Hawkins Island, Kings Point, South Point, Stillwater on St Simons Island and Tolomato Island in McIntosh County, and the Architectural Review Board of Gateway Community in Brunswick Georgia.

CAD Tech / Associate Architect
Cory earned his Bachelor fine arts in Architecture from Savannah College of Art & Design in 2010. Cory has fourteen years of experience in architectural drafting and construction document preparation. His responsibilities include field verification of existing conditions, as-built drawing preparation, drafting and design work in the schematic design, design development and construction drawing phases. Cory’s attention to detail insures that construction documents prepared by Ussery-Rule Architects are of the highest quality possible.
