47+ YEARS OF DESIGN LEGACY IN THE GOLDEN ISLES & ACROSS THE SOUTHEAST

About

Ussery Rule Morelan Architects traces its roots back to 1979, when Robert Ussery and the late Tom Rule founded Ussery-Rule Architects on St. Simons Island. From the beginning, the firm has been dedicated to creating architecture that honors its setting while upholding the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. In 1993, Tracy Morelan joined the firm, bringing a strong design sensibility and detailed approach to the practice. In 2004, Cory Rule came aboard, continuing the legacy established by his father. Over the decades, the close collaboration between Robert, Tracy, and Cory naturally evolved into a formal partnership, uniting their shared experience and complementary strengths under the name Ussery Rule Morelan Architects, P.C.

Today, the firm continues its tradition of thoughtful design with a full range of architectural services for both new construction and renovations, including custom residential design, interiors, multi-family projects, commercial architecture, and land planning. Licensed in Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Tennessee, Ussery Rule Morelan Architects remains committed to shaping the built environment of the Golden Isles and beyond through timeless, enduring design. Whether it’s a custom home, a thoughtfully planned commercial space, or a small renovation with a big impact, we are dedicated to delivering work of the highest quality. Our goal is simple: to create timeless, well-crafted buildings and homes that enrich everyday life and make clients proud to call them their own.
