Joe earned his Bachelor of Architecture from Auburn University in 1990. Joe has over 30-years of experience in architectural design, contract document production, and construction. His experience includes all phases of design, from concept, through design development, to preparation of construction documents and specifications as well as contract administration. Joe is currently responsible for specification writing and contract administration for Ussery Rule Morelan Architects with emphasis on producing projects of the highest quality in a timely manner.

 

Joe’s experience in municipal and commercial projects includes the Glynn County Fleet Maintenance building for which he wrote the specifications and oversaw the construction of the facility. Additionally, Joe’s experience includes the Glynn County Public Works Administration Building, the St. Simons Public Works Compound, and several automotive dealerships. Joe is active in the community and has held a variety of offices with non-profit groups and community-oriented organizations. Joe understands the importance and necessity of networking with other individuals and organizations to ensure the desired outcome is achieved.

 

While employed with Ussery-Rule Architects, Joe also served with the local fire service in a variety of positions from firefighter to division chief. Joe’s personal experiences and knowledge of fire and life safety codes while with the fire service makes him a key individual for this project.
